The perspective of working intensively in a team in an international context for half a year and representing the University of Osnabrück in this competition excites me. In addition to gaining subject-specific qualifications in a new area of law, I aim to further develop my rhetorical skills. I am looking forward to many interesting and enriching personal encounters with students and practicing lawyers from different legal systems in the course of the 32^nd Willem C. Vis Moot Court.

The Willem C. Vis Moot Court offers an exceptional opportunity to gain practical and in-depth insights into international commercial and arbitration law. The opportunity to network with participants and universities from around the world makes the Vis Moot Court an invaluable experience. I am excited to represent the University of Osnabrück alongside my team and eager to contribute my own passion for debating to the competition.

The Vis Moot Court presents the great opportunity of getting to know a new highly interesting field of law in a Team based environment and work in detail on a complicated case of private international law. Especially in contrast to the oftentimes very German centric studies this does appeal to me. Moreover, I am looking forward to representing the University Osnabrück in an international competition and to get to know other students from all over the world.

The Vis Moot offers a unique opportunity to engage with international legal issues and gain new experiences. I see participation as a challenge that extends far beyond academic studies. I am particularly excited about the opportunity to refine my argumentation skills and improve my ability to draft legal briefs. My goal is not only to deepen my knowledge but also to develop my teamwork and communication skills. Furthermore, I look forward to connecting with talented and dedicated students from around the world and learning from experienced practitioners. For me, the Moot Court is an ideal platform to grow both personally and professionally, and to prepare myself for a career in international law.

Coaches 

This year's team will be coached by Tamika Fenni, Wiebke Knudsen and Alina Wellmann (from right to left). While Ms Wellmann participated in the 27th Vis Moot and has already coached the Osnabrück team in the 28th Vis Moot, Ms Fenni and Ms Knudsen participated last year and achieved the best result for the University of Osnabrück so far, reaching the Round of 16 out of 373 participating teams in Vienna. With this expertise, we hope to achieve a top performance again next year.
